We've arrived at Cataviña-Parque Natural Del Desierto Central and are setting up camp. The vegetation here is incredible. There are Boojum trees, elephant trees, and senita cactus amidst huge granite boulders!
An elephant tree. There are actually two types of elephant trees in Baja. This blooms lavendar-colored flowers in the heat of summer--something we've never seen.
