When it comes to iconic natural features of Grand Canyon National Park, plants have patiently waited for attention as first-time visitors marvel at the geology. Indeed, sweeping vistas of cliff and slope are surely what draw many to the grandest of chasms, but it’s often the park’s amazing biodiversity that keeps them coming back.
A new exhibit at Kolb Studio on the South Rim will celebrate this tapestry of life by highlighting some of the amazing botanical wonders that can be found from rim to river. “Grand Canyon’s Green Heart” will run from July 2–August 31, 2010.
