If you’ve ever stood scratching your head at the rim of the canyon, wondering what the canyon looks like from the inside out—the Grand Canyon Field Institute has a learning adventure just for you. Going into its 14th season, GCFI provides single and multi-day educational outings for park visitors of all ages. From whitewater rafting to a stroll down one of the historic trails, the activities are as varied as the topics they explore.
GCFI is a program of the non-profit Grand Canyon Association which has been serving Grand Canyon National Park since 1932. GCFI launches its 2011 season on Tuesday, November 16, at 8:00 a.m. MST by posting its entire schedule at https://www.grandcanyon.org/learn/grand-canyon-association-field-institute.
