Grand Canyon: Views beyond the Beauty
Gary Ladd
Gary Ladd has photographed images of the southwest for decades. Carrying his 4″x 5″ camera around even on backpack trips, he has captured beauty that few can imagine. The images in this book are even more remarkable in this day of Photoshop when you realize that the photographer does not use any editing or filters on his images. What you see is what he saw. And the images are exquisite! A wonderful way to remember your trip or to make you want to get yourself out here!
Grand Canyon: Window of Time
by Stewart Aitchison
Breathtaking! This is one of the most beautiful books available on Grand Canyon today. I don’t know how they can offer it so inexpensively. Not only is it a feast for the eyes, you will also find the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions on the North Rim, South Rim and the Inner Gorge. For such a beautiful coffee table book, you will find lots of fascinating information on the flora and fauna, weather, life zones, human history, and of course, geology. The large format of this book (10.25″ by 13″) make the photographs appear even more spectacular.
