If you’re looking for the perfect day to visit Grand Canyon National Park during our glorious winter season, you might consider Monday, January 19. Besides enjoying views of snow-capped peaks and frosted pines, the National Park Service will be waiving park entrance fees in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. There’s no better place to ponder the vision and sacrifice of Dr. King than on the edge of the Grand Canyon; a view that evokes a universal sense of spiritual expansiveness and connection to our national heritage.
The park’s fee free day is one of six spread throughout the year. Follow this link for a full listing.
