There is huge news for those planning on visiting the turquoise waterfalls of Havasu and Mooney Falls in 2019. The Havasupai Tribe has decided not to allow ANY outfitters to escort visitors into the canyon this year.
This means anyone planning on camping or staying at the lodge will have to make their own reservations and carry their own food and equipment – or use the tribe’s pack mules or helicopter services.
Pricing has been set for 2019 campground reservations of which there are about 300 permits per day. They are as follows:
- $100 per person per weekday night
- $125 per person per weekend night (Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights)
- These prices include all necessary permits, fees, and taxes.
- All campground reservations will be for 3 nights / 4 days and must be made online at HavasupaiReservations.com.
There will be NO phone reservations this year. If you call and do happen to get through, you will only be told to go online to make your reservation.
